Ukrainian farmers have harvested over 27 million tons of grain and leguminous crops

As of August 22, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 27,251.9 thousand tons of early grains and leguminous crops from an area of 6,700.9 thousand hectares. Sixty percent of the sown area for these crops has been threshed.

Specifically:

  • Wheat – 21,009.9 thousand tons from 4,873.1 thousand hectares.
  • Barley – 4,970.6 thousand tons from 1,304.6 thousand hectares.
  • Peas – 581.7 thousand tons from 258.6 thousand hectares.
  • Other grains and legumes – 685.3 thousand tons from 260.6 thousand hectares.

Leading regions include:

  • Odessa region – 3,442.2 thousand tons from 1,083.4 thousand hectares.
  • Vinnytsia region – 2,385.8 thousand tons from 423.7 thousand hectares.
  • Kirovohrad region – 2,204.0 thousand tons from 533.4 thousand hectares.

Rapeseed harvest has reached 3,162.8 thousand tons from 1,283 thousand hectares.

Sunflower harvesting has begun in Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions, and soybean harvesting has started in Kharkiv region.
