Representatives of the Ukrainian national judo team won three medals at the European Open tournament. In total, the tournament gathered 400 participants from 34 countries worldwide in GyÅr, Hungary this weekend.
This information was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Ukrainian national judo team.
Yaroslav Davidchuk stepped onto the podium of such level competitions for the first time. He immediately secured a "gold" medal in the weight category up to 90 kg.
In the same weight category, Ivan Kutenkov secured the bronze by defeating his compatriot Artem Bubyr in the consolation match.
Another bronze medal was won by Oleksiy Yershov, who competed in the weight category up to 100 kg.
