The Ukrainian team won 32 medals, including 12 golds, at the Invictus Games in Canada, which ended on Tuesday, as reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"35 veterans, both men and women, represented Ukraine. They competed in 11 sports and won 32 medals: 12 gold, 11 silver, and 9 bronze," Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

"This result is not just the outcome of months of training and rehabilitation, but also a reflection of the Ukrainian character and spirit. Resilience and strength — that’s about you, about Ukrainians. I am proud of all our guys and girls. Thank you for these important victories," the President added.

As reported, in 2025, Ukraine participated in the Invictus Games for the fifth time. The Ukrainian team consisted of 35 military personnel and veterans who were injured, wounded, or became ill during or as a result of their service in the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014.

At the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto, Ukraine won 14 medals, in 2018 in Sydney — 20 medals, in 2022 in The Hague — 16 medals, and in 2023 in Düsseldorf — 34 medals.
