Next year, UNICEF will allocate $450 million to Ukraine to support the front-line regions of the country, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

The allocated funds will be directed towards humanitarian needs, including providing laptops for children who are unable to study offline.

In 2023, children from rural communities in the liberated areas of Kharkiv and Kherson regions received 10,000 laptops and can now engage in full-time learning.

Among other important tasks are the arrangement of school shelters, restoration of water supply, and support for resilience centers. In the Kharkiv region, UNICEF is assisting in implementing projects to create six such centers in the Chuhuiv, Balakliia, Pisochyn, Kegychiv, Krasnohrad, and Valky communities.

"We always set our collaboration as an example because UNICEF makes decisions quickly and flexibly, adapting to the situation on the front-line adjacent territories. We always consult, reach consensus, and keep our word. This is an important condition for further successful actions," noted the Vice Prime Minister, Iryna Vereshchuk.
