Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Västergötland and Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland Kungahuset visited Ukrainian servicemen who train as part of the Operation INTERFLEX on the territory of Great Britain under the leadership of Swedish instructors, reported by the General Staff of Ukraine.
Together with the royal family Minister of Sweden Defense Pål Jonson, Swedish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Poland Stefan Gullgren, Defence Attaché of Sweden to Great Britain Colonel Per Appelqvist, British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps and British Chief of General Staff General Patrick Sanders and Commander of the Operation INTERFLEX Colonel James Thurstan took part in the high-profile visit.
The distinguished guests got acquainted with the training of Ukrainian military personnel undergoing a basic combined military course on the territory of Eastern Anglia.
They talked with Ukrainian military personnel, including company and platoon commanders with combat experience, about the course of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The heir to the Swedish throne expressed her support for the Ukrainian people in the fight against the illegal invasion of the russian occupation forces on the territory of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that in November, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced a new financial aid package for Ukraine in the amount of 100 million kroner (8.7 million euros).
