The jury of the 16th Odesa International Film Festival has determined the winners.

The main prize in the category “Best European Feature Film” was awarded to the film Six Days in Spring (Six jours ce printemps-là, 2025), a co-production of France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. Its director, Joachim Lafosse, received the “Golden Duke” statuette.
The international jury awarded a special diploma to the Ukrainian film U Are the Universe, directed by Pavlo Ostrikov.
In the category “Best Ukrainian Feature Documentary,” the winning film was Simple Soldier, directed by Artem Ryzhikov and Juan Camilo Cruz. Its creators received the “Golden Duke” statuette and a prize of 75,000 hryvnias from the official partner bank, Pivdennyi.
Special diplomas from the National Documentary Competition program were awarded to the Ukrainian projects Father’s Lullaby, directed by Lesia Dyak, and The Music of Being, by Hennadii Chernomashyntsev.
The FIPRESCI diploma in the category “Best Ukrainian Feature Documentary” was awarded to Simple Soldier by Artem Ryzhikov and Juan Camilo Cruz.
The main festival prize, the Grand Prix, based on audience voting, was awarded to U Are the Universe. Its director, Pavlo Ostrikov, received the “Golden Duke” statuette and a 75,000-hryvnia prize.
As part of the closing ceremony, a separate segment was dedicated to awarding the winners of the pitches in the festival’s Film Industry Office section. In the Development category, the jury recognized two projects at once: Golden Moose (dir. Arkadiy Nepytalyuk, prod. Regina Maryanovska-Davidzon) and Entangled (dir. Ivan Orlenko, prod. Charlotte Krüger), each receiving 40,000 hryvnias.
