In many regions, it's clear what Russia truly needs—about 40 Shaheds in the sky, air defense systems operating, and a strike on a hospital in Sumy.
This is what the President wrote on his official Telegram channel.
"Right now, in many regions, you can literally hear what Russia actually needs. About 40 Shaheds in our sky, air defense is working. Unfortunately, there are hits on civilian infrastructure. A direct hit from a Shahed on a hospital in Sumy, attacks on cities in Donetsk region, strike drones are in the sky right now over Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkasy regions," wrote Volodymyr Zelensky.
These nightly attacks by Russia destroy our energy system, our infrastructure, and the normal life of Ukrainians. The fact that this night was no exception shows that pressure on Russia must continue for peace, the President emphasized.
Today, Putin essentially rejected the proposal for a complete ceasefire. It would be right for the world to reject any attempts by Putin to drag out the war in response.
"Sanctions against Russia. Help for Ukraine. Strengthening allies in the free world and working towards security guarantees. Only a real cessation of Russia's attacks on civilian infrastructure as evidence of their desire to end this war can bring peace closer," concluded Volodymyr Zelensky.
