Releaf Paper is a Ukrainian startup that developed a unique technology for making paper from fallen leaves. Founded in 2020 by schoolboy Valentin Frechka from Zakarpattia, the company underwent a "reboot" after a year to transform it into a fully-fledged business. It was at this time that Valentin partnered with Alexander Sobolenko, a former top manager at Lenovo. In early 2023, the company actively entered the French market and had plans for building production lines in other European countries, including Finland. Releaf Paper has production facilities in Lutsk, Ukraine, with the current capacity reaching 10,000 tons of paper per year.
