UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, during his visit to Kyiv, announced a military aid package of £2.5 billion to Ukraine – the largest defense assistance since the beginning of the war.

"Today, the United Kingdom wants to announce the largest defense aid package to Ukraine since the start of the war, totaling £2.5 billion ($3.19 billion). This means more security, anti-tank capabilities, more missiles, hundreds of thousands of new artillery shells, and the training of thousands of Ukrainian military personnel," he said in Kyiv.

Sunak mentioned that £200 million from this defense package will be allocated for the production of hundreds of thousands of new drones.
