Russian troops have killed 630 children in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported on Facebook.

"More than 2,590 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of May 26, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 630 children have died and over 1,960 have been injured to varying degrees," the statement says.

The most affected children are in Donetsk region – 645, Kharkiv – 492, Kherson – 208, Dnipropetrovsk – 242, Kyiv – 146, Zaporizhzhia – 181, Mykolaiv – 119, and Sumy – 139.

On May 25, as a result of a strike on Korostyshiv in Zhytomyr region, a 12-year-old girl and boys aged 8 and 17 were killed, and a 14-year-old boy was injured.

Also on May 25, a 14-year-old boy was injured as a result of a strike on Kharkiv.

Additionally, on May 25, eight children were injured in strikes on Kyiv region: girls aged 10, 13, and 17, and boys aged 8, 10, 11, and 13.

That same day, a 17-year-old boy was injured as a result of a strike on Mykolaiv.
