Russia has launched 64 missiles and drones at Ukraine. The air defense forces shot down 44 targets.

This information was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, on Telegram.

He noted that the Rusian forces carried out several strikes on the territory of Ukraine, starting from the evening. In total, the Russians launched 64 airborne attack assets at Ukraine:

• 20 Shahed drones (Chauda - Crimea);

• 29 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 from ten Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft (launches - Engels, Caspian Sea);

• four Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers (launch area - Sevastopol, Kursk);

• three sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles from carriers in the Black Sea (launch area - Novorossiysk);

• three Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launches from Cape Tarkhankut - Crimea, Voronezh region - Russia);

• five S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles (launch area - Belgorod region - Russia).

The air defense forces of Ukraine shot down 44 targets: 26 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55, three Kalibr cruise missiles, and 15 Shahed drones.

The defense against the attack involved anti-aircraft missile troops, Air Force fighter aircraft, units of mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and electronic warfare assets.
