Russia launched two missiles and 29 Shahed drones at Ukraine overnight on November 15. Most targets were intercepted in the Odessa region.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
During the night, Russian forces struck the Odessa region with two guided X-59/69 aviation missiles from the Black Sea and launched 29 Shahed drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area.
As of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces had destroyed one missile and 25 drones.
The majority of the airborne targets were intercepted in the Odessa region. Air defense systems were also active in the Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Ternopil regions.
Additionally, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this morning that Russia deployed eight Tu-95MS bombers. Monitoring groups noted possible missile launches, though it is suspected they may have been simulation launches.
According to local authorities, a residential apartment building in central Odesa was destroyed, and a fire broke out.
Several multi-story buildings were also damaged, along with around 30 vehicles. Fires occurred on the premises of a public establishment and a two-story building. Additionally, a pipeline was damaged.
The attack claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman. According to the State Emergency Service, 10 people were injured, including a 9-year-old boy. A 22-year-old man is in critical condition.
