Russia launches wave of drone and air strikes across Ukrainian regions

Mykolaiv region

During the night and early morning of Wednesday, November 5, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv using Shahed-type UAVs and aerial munitions, the type of which is being identified.

Industrial infrastructure came under attack. There were no casualties.

Yesterday, the Russian forces twice attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities in the Mykolaiv district with FPV drones. There were no casualt.

Dnipropetrovsk region

In the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, three men were injured as a result of Russian attacks, as was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko.

According to updated information, two men aged 52 and 56 were injured in the evening Russian attack on the Pokrovske community of the Nikopol district. A private house and a car were damaged.

“The aggressor struck the Vasylkivka and Dubovykivka communities of the Synelnykove district with drones,” Haivanenko said.

Infrastructure, seven private houses, and a gas pipeline were damaged. A 41-year-old man was injured and hospitalized.

In addition, according to the regional head, Russian forces also directed drones at Ternivka in the Pavlohrad district, damaging an infrastructure facility.

Kherson region

In the Kherson region, three people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian aggression.

Antonivka, Blahovishchenske, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Dniprovke, Kizomys, Rozlyv, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Novotiagynka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Zolota Balka, Burhunka, Dudchany, Novokairy, Osokorivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Vesele, and Kherson came under drone terror, air strikes, and artillery fire.

An apartment building, 13 private houses, a utility structure, an office, and private vehicles were damaged.

Three people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Donetsk region

Over the past day, November 4, the Russian army killed one resident of Donetsk region and injured six others. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

He said that Russian forces killed one person in Kostiantynivka. Six more people in the region were injured during the day.

The total number of victims of Russian attacks in Donetsk region — 3,725 killed and 8,416 injured — does not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, the regional head emphasized.

Chernihiv region

Three people were injured in a Russian drone strike on the city of Novhorod-Siverskyi on the night of November 5.

A woman born in 1952 and two men born in 1946 and 1948 were hospitalized in the local hospital.

The strikes caused fires in a summer kitchen and an outbuilding. Several private residential houses and two cars were damaged. Rescuers extinguished all the fires.

Sumy region

Over the past day, from the morning of November 4 to the morning of November 5, the Russian army carried out 53 strikes on 28 settlements across 14 territorial communities in Sumy region, injuring two people.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

The highest number of attacks were recorded in the Sumy, Shostka, and Okhtyrka districts.

Russian forces launched nearly 20 guided aerial bomb strikes, about 10 drone attacks, 10 rocket artillery strikes, and several FPV drone assaults.

  • In the Sumy community, apartment buildings, a private house, a retail facility, and a piece of civilian infrastructure were damaged.
  • In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 57-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were injured by an FPV drone strike.
  • In the Seredyna-Buda community, a private car and a tractor were damaged.
  • In the Mykolaiv rural community, a private house and a non-residential building were hit.
  • In the Krasnopillia community, a private car sustained damage.
  • In the Trostianets community, civilian infrastructure, retail facilities, and cars were affected.
  • In the Hlukhiv community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

Over the past day, 14 people were evacuated from border communities in Sumy region.
