Russian forces continued to launch deadly attacks across Ukraine on Monday, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread damage in several regions, according to local authorities.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a missile strike hit the Kamianske district, causing both fatalities and injuries. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, confirmed the incident via Telegram, stating:
"Following the missile attack on the Kamianske district, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded."
Further details, including the number of victims, have not yet been released.
Meanwhile, in the Mykolaiv region, Russian artillery targeted the Kutsurub community. According to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, a 75-year-old man was killed in his own yard, and his 76-year-old wife was seriously injured. She was hospitalized following the attack.
The Kherson region also came under fire late at night. Russian forces shelled residential neighborhoods in Kherson’s Central District around midnight. Local authorities reported that a preschool was damaged in the attack, with windows blown out once again. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this particular strike.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Polohy district was targeted by Russian shelling. Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, reported that a 49-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man were injured in the Preobrazhenska community. Both victims are receiving medical treatment.
These attacks are part of the ongoing Russian aggression that continues to inflict suffering on Ukraine’s civilian population, damaging homes, infrastructure, and essential services across the country.
