Russian forces fired 577 projectiles from various types of weapons at Kherson and the surrounding region in the past 24 hours, as reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, in the operational update as of 06:00 on Sunday.
"Over the past day, the enemy carried out 96 shelling incidents, releasing 577 projectiles from mortars, artillery, 'Grad' systems, anti-tank guided missiles, tanks, aviation, and UAVs. The enemy fired 40 projectiles at the city of Kherson," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the Regional Military Administration, Russian military forces hit residential neighborhoods in populated areas of the region, administrative buildings, an educational institution, a facility, and the park area in Kherson.
There are no reported casualties or injuries among the civilian population.
