Russian forces attacked a geriatric center in Stepanivka, Kherson district, with artillery strikes last night. Medical staff were injured in the assault.
This was reported bythe Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram.
The attack occurred around 2 a.m., with the enemy targeting the geriatric center's territory in Stepanivka, a village within the Kherson city community.
"Two medical workers were injured," stated the regional prosecutor's office.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
"Prosecutors, along with other law enforcement officers, are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian armed forces," the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported.
