Russian forces today, March 19, launched a missile strike on the Odessa region. As a result of the attack, port infrastructure has been damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, on Telegram.

"The Odessa region is under enemy attack again. Russian troops have attacked our region with missiles. There is damage to the port infrastructure. So far, there is information about one injured person," Kiper wrote.

According to the official, the man has already been hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.

The head of the Military Administration urged residents of the Odessa region to respond promptly to air alarms and to take cover.

Ukrainian military warned that air defense systems are operating in the region. They did not provide more detailed information. The explosions were heard after the Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic missile launches from the occupied territory of Crimea.
