Over the past day, Russian military forces have intensified their offensive across multiple Ukrainian regions, causing civilian injuries, property damage, and widespread disruption.
Kherson region
In the Kherson region, 33 settlements including the regional capital were heavily shelled, resulting in injuries to four civilians. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, reported that Russian troops targeted residential areas and social infrastructure, damaging a multi-story building, nine private homes, garages, vehicles, and a local Resistance Point. Towns affected include Antonivka, Prydniprovskoye, Bilozerka, Beryslav, and others.
“Due to Russian aggression, four people were injured,” emphasized Prokudin.
Poltava region
In the Kremenchuk district of Poltava region, a utility building caught fire due to the fall of debris from a Russian drone. The Poltava Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
“Air defense systems were active in the region overnight. As a result of debris from an enemy UAV falling in the Kremenchuk district, a utility building caught fire. A private house was damaged by the blast wave,” the report states.
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire has been extinguished. There were no casualties.
Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian forces attacked the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Pavlohrad districts of Dnipropetrovsk region over the past day, damaging three enterprises, a power line, and private homes. This was reported on Telegram by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Damage included agricultural and transport enterprises, private homes, garages, a communal enterprise, and a power line. Fires were sparked but promptly put out. An FPV drone attack also damaged communal transport in the Mezhivka community.
Sumy region
Sumy region experienced nearly 60 Russian attacks across 26 settlements in 12 communities, injuring two people—a woman and a man—in drone strikes. The attacks involved guided bombs and VOG grenades dropped from drones, damaging private homes, civil infrastructure, and public buildings. A lengthy air raid alert lasted over 12 hours, prompting evacuation of 25 residents from border areas.
"From the morning of July 30 to the morning of July 31, 2025, Russian troops conducted nearly 60 shelling attacks on 26 settlements in 12 territorial communities of the region. The most attacks were recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts," the report states.
Donetsk region
In Donetsk region, Russian shelling killed two residents in Sofiivka and wounded ten more. The regional administration emphasized that reported Russian casualties number over 3,300 killed and 7,700 injured, excluding those from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Kharkiv
Over the past day, seven settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by Russian strikes — one person was killed and seven were injured, according to Oleg Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who reported this on Telegram.
- In the village of Vasyshcheve, Bezliudivka community, a 63-year-old man was killed, and men aged 64, 65, and 74, as well as women aged 47, 54, and 62, were injured.
- In the village of Borshchova, Lypetska community, a 51-year-old man was injured.
- A 56-year-old woman was injured as a result of an explosion of an unknown object in the city of Kupiansk.
The Russian forces actively used various types of weapons across Kharkiv region: 39 unguided aviation rockets; two S-300 surface-to-air missiles; four guided bombs (GAB); 12 Shahed-type drones; two Lancet-type drones; two FPV drones.
Civil infrastructure objects were damaged and destroyed. Specifically, in Kharkiv district, warehouse premises of a civilian enterprise, a gas station (Vasyshcheve settlement), and a private house (Borshchova village) were damaged. In Kupiansk district, two private houses (Osynove village) were damaged. In Izium district, two private houses and two cars (Vyshe Solone and Nizhe Solone villages) were damaged. In Chuhuiv district, a private house (Metalivka village) was damaged.
