In Zaporizhzhia, the death toll from the December 10 missile strike has risen to seven after rescuers retrieved another body from the rubble. Currently, 22 injuries have been reported. The search and rescue operation is ongoing, with five people potentially still trapped beneath the debris.
All emergency services are on site, and rescue work continued overnight with the help of a special lighting tower.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, stated that overnight, State Emergency Service rescuers pulled two women from the rubble, who are now in the hospital.
According to him, four or five more people remain trapped in the ruins of the building destroyed by the Russian missile.
