Due to Russian attacks, new damage has occurred to energy infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. By the end of the day, electricity consumption restrictions are being applied in most regions.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

“Enemy strikes have caused additional damage to energy facilities in certain regions. Efforts are ongoing to eliminate the consequences of previous massive missile and drone attacks on the power system. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the damaged equipment as quickly as possible,” the statement reads.

As a result of the massive attacks, most regions will implement industrial power restrictions and hourly electricity outage schedules ranging from 2 to 4 shifts on November 10.

Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high.

“Considering the weather conditions and the consequences of Russian attacks, the need for careful electricity use will continue throughout the day. Please limit the use of high-power appliances and move energy-intensive processes to nighttime when the load on the power system is lowest. Responsible electricity use by every consumer will help reduce the duration of forced blackouts for everyone,” Ukrenergo emphasized.

On the night of November 8, Russia once again carried out a massive attack on Ukraine’s energy system, resulting in the shutdown of the Tripil and Zmiiv thermal power plants. Substations critical for nuclear safety were also targeted.
