Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past day, the Russian forces carried out 480 attacks on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One man was injured as a result of a strike on the Zaporizhzhia district. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Russian forces carried out 11 airstrikes on Kushuhum, Malokaterynivka, Lukyanivske, Huliaipole, Omelnyk, Poltavka, Malynivka, Bilohirya, and Zaliznychne. Four multiple-launch rocket system attacks hit Plavni, Preobrazhenka, Poltavka, and Bilohirya,” Fedorov said.
According to him, 303 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV drones) targeted Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.
Additionally, 162 artillery strikes were carried out on the areas of Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. There were also 81 reports of damage to houses, apartments, outbuildings, and garages.
Kherson region
In the Kherson region, four people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian aggression, according to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region's settlements, damaging two apartment buildings and 15 private houses. The occupiers also destroyed a gas pipeline and several private cars.
Four people were injured due to the Russian attacks, Prokudin emphasized.
At around 07:00, Russian forces attacked a car with a drone on the road between the villages of Klapaya and Chornobaivka.
A 47-year-old medical director and a 38-year-old female doctor from one of the healthcare facilities were injured. According to preliminary information, they sustained blast injuries. The victims went to the hospital on their own, where they received the necessary medical care.
Sumy region
Russian forces carried out 90 strikes on 31 settlements in the Sumy region over the past day, from the morning of August 25 to the morning of August 26, causing casualties, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
In the Mykolaiv rural community, a 77-year-old man was injured by an FPV drone attack. In the Bezdrytska community, a 51-year-old woman and a 63-year-old woman were injured by a UAV strike. The majority of Russian attacks were recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. The Russians carried out nearly 30 strikes with GAB munitions, conducted 10 VOG drops from UAVs, and attacked with FPV drones and other types of unmanned aircraft. In the Novoslobidska community, an educational facility was damaged; in the Seredyno-Budska community, an administrative building was hit. In the Sumy community, private residential houses, outbuildings, and non-residential buildings were damaged. In the Znob-Novhorodska community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged; in the Verkhniosyrovatka community, a non-residential building was hit. In the Shostka community, a civilian infrastructure facility and a residential house were damaged; in the Bezdrytska community, private residential houses were hit; in the Hlukhiv community, a non-residential building was damaged.
Over the day, four more people were evacuated from the border communities of the Sumy region.
Dnipropetrovsk region
The Russian army carried out strikes on Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, causing damage. According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, overnight and in the morning, the occupiers attacked the Pokrovska, Mykolaivska, and Mezhivska communities in Synelnykove district with drones. A fire broke out at an agricultural enterprise, a private house caught fire, and a vehicle was damaged.
In addition, strikes continued in the Nikopol district. The Russian forces attacked Marganets using an FPV drone and artillery.
Lysak noted that air defense forces shot down two drones over Dnipropetrovsk region.
Kharkiv region
Over the past 24 hours, four settlements in Kharkiv region came under Russian strikes, with one person injured, as reported by Syniehubov on Facebook, a 66-year-old woman was injured in the village of Slatyne in the Derhachi community.
The Russians attacked Kharkiv region using two Molniya-type drones and two FPV drones. In Slatyne, Kharkiv district, three private houses were damaged.
In the village of Borova, Izium district, and the village of Klynove-Novoselivka, Bohodukhiv district, one private house was damaged in each settlement.
