Russian troops are attempting to use heavy flamethrower systems and drop GABs (guided aerial bombs) near the Vovchansk aggregate plant, as stated by the spokesperson of the Kharkiv Operational-Tactical Group, Vitaliy Sarantsev, during the national telethon United News.
"They (the enemy) are currently trying to use the maximum range of weapons in that location (the aggregate plant in Vovchansk). They are using both heavy flamethrower systems and dropping GABs," the spokesperson said.
According to him, the situation at the Vovchansk aggregate plant, after its liberation by units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, is extremely tense and complicated, as the facility has become the number one target for the Russian forces.
The spokesperson added that the aggregate plant does not have a specific tactical objective for the Russians, but losing this facility was a "very powerful image blow" for them.
