Russian forces launched strike drones against Odessa and the Odessa district, causing damage to residential buildings.
According to Odesa Regional Administration Head Oleh Kiper, despite active air defense efforts, civilian infrastructure and housing were affected.
“Several fires broke out in the city, including in multi-story buildings. Information on casualties is being clarified,” Kiper stated.
Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack.
As a result of a Russian drone attack during the night of September 7, three people were injured. A multi-story residential building was damaged. Rescuers extinguished the fire on the top floor.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service worked on site and provided assistance to 22 people in total.
In addition, fires broke out in a nine-story building, a warehouse, and a car, and the Palace of Sports was damaged. The fires have been extinguished.
