Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South, stated that the Russian forces army uses drones for reconnaissance every day. He shared this information during the United News telethon.
"This happens every day. By yesterday morning, thanks to the 'South' air command, we had already shot down three Orlans and one Zala. This occurs constantly, and air raid signals often sound when a drone appears in the sky," Bratchuk said.
He noted that the drones usually appear from the sea, are tracked, and then shot down. Bratchuk also emphasized that the appearance of drones can be followed by a missile attack.
"Missile attacks are generally ballistic and launched from the occupied territory of Crimea," Bratchuk added.
He also mentioned that the Russian forces's objectives remain unchanged, and it is likely trying to identify potential gaps in Ukraine's air defense system.
