A drone exploded overnight near the village of Copanca, Căușeni district n Moldova. The incident caused a fire, but no casualties were reported.
According to the Air Operations Service of the National Army, the flying object was detected at 1:03 a.m., reports Radio Chișinău.
Preliminary information indicates that the drone, identified as a Geran-2 type (Shahed-136), entered the airspace of the Republic of Moldova following Russian Federation air attacks on Odessa region.

The Ministry of Defence stated that teams of specialists from the relevant authorities are working at the scene. In case citizens observe suspicious aircraft, they are urged not to approach, touch, or move them, to remember the location, and to avoid using mobile phones nearby, as such devices may contain explosive components sensitive to radio waves.
