The Alliance of Ukrainian Food Producers (UFMA), together with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, Diia.Business, and the platform Nazovni.online, has opened preliminary selection for Ukrainian food producers to join a program aimed at entering the German market.

According to UFMA, the initiative offers expert consultations on market preparation, participation in a trade mission, and opportunities to establish direct contacts with German retailers and distributors.

The program’s goal is to provide systematic preparation, product adaptation, and direct connections with retailers in Germany. It will run from June to November 2025, selecting 10 companies through a competitive process.

“The detailed schedule and participation conditions will be shared with selected companies,” the alliance noted.

Selection criteria:

  • Food production sector membership.
  • Official registration under Ukrainian law (individual entrepreneur or legal entity).
  • Implementation of international quality and safety standards from the GFSI group (FSSC 22000, IFS/BRC).
  • Own production facilities and capacity to scale.
  • At least 51% ownership by Ukrainian citizens (per company charter).
  • No ties to Russia.
  • Operating website with an English version.
  • Company representatives participating in the program must be fluent in English.

Interested companies should complete the registration form by May 26, 2025.

Applicants will be informed of results individually. Selected candidates will be invited for an interview.
