Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister for Community and Territorial Development, Oleksii Kuleba, and Sweden's Minister for Infrastructure and Housing, Andreas Carlsson, discussed further cooperation in the field of reconstruction. This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
"We are open to launching joint projects with Sweden in both transport and housing reconstruction. The ministry is currently paying significant attention to the security of maritime infrastructure. Therefore, assistance from foreign partners in these areas will be very valuable," Kuleba said.
Carlsson, for his part, noted that Sweden is exploring ways to support Ukraine's railways and is also ready to contribute to the restoration of aviation links as soon as the security situation allows.
The Ministry of Development highlighted that the meeting participants discussed practical steps for cooperation that would enable bilateral projects to begin more quickly.
The Swedish government plans to launch a multi-year support program for the civil sector, similar to the one already in place for defense sector cooperation.
