The Swiss energy equipment manufacturer PFIFFNER-Group has presented the Government of Ukraine with a certificate worth 100,000 Swiss francs for the purchase of equipment to support Ukraine’s energy system. The Swiss company is also considering the possibility of building a new plant in Ukraine. This was discussed during an online meeting between Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yuliia Svyrydenko, and PFIFFNER-Group Chairman Fritz Hunziker and CEO Marcel Rufenacht.

“We are grateful to PFIFFNER-Group for contributing to the restoration of our energy system — the certificate worth 100,000 francs and the potential investment in building a plant in Ukraine. This kind of support strengthens our energy resilience under constant attacks,” noted Yuliia Svyrydenko.

She thanked the company’s leadership for the humanitarian technical assistance previously provided to Ukraine’s energy sector. The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation, including the possibility of opening a production facility of the Swiss company in Ukraine.

“The government is implementing the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy, which encourages investment in the real economy, boosts non-raw material exports, and develops domestic manufacturing. Particularly attractive to major investors is the support program for significant investment projects. Under this program, investors can receive up to 30% reimbursement of capital investment from the state for projects worth over €12 million,” Svyrydenko emphasized.

During the conversation, Marcel Rufenacht also confirmed that PFIFFNER-Group has terminated all relations with the Russian Federation and expressed readiness to continue supporting Ukraine amid Moscow’s armed aggression.
