Switzerland to provide financial assistance to Ukraine for state service digitalization. The amount exceeds $60 million.

This was announced by the press service of the Swiss government.

As stated, during the session on June 7th, the Federal Council of Switzerland decided to continue supporting Ukraine in the areas of digitalization and e-governance.

The country will allocate 58.7 million Swiss francs (over $64 million) to Ukraine over the next four years. The funds will be directed towards projects in regions affected by the war. Among the key areas are healthcare, education, and humanitarian demining.

According to the Swiss government, digitalization enhances the transparency of state services, which is crucial for Ukraine's reconstruction.

Switzerland will announce its support at the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC), scheduled for June 11th and 12th, 2024, in Berlin.

Switzerland has positively responded to Ukraine's application and the Diia portal for state services. The project was implemented through the "E-Governance for Accountability and Participation" (EGAP), which promotes the digital transformation of Ukrainian governance and has been supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) since 2015.
