The construction of the "Interjus Bukovina" concentrated juice production plant is starting in the village of Kobolchin, Chernivtsi region.

This was announced by the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council, Oleksii Boyko, on Facebook.

He noted that the new enterprise will be able to process up to 1,500 tons of fruit raw materials every day.

"The main product will be concentrated apple juice, as well as juices made from local berries such as raspberries, cherries, sweet cherries, and plums," clarified the head of the regional council, noting that fruit raw materials will be sourced from farms in the region and neighboring areas, which should provide significant support to local agricultural producers.

The plant will be part of an industrial park covering about 12 hectares, where warehouse spaces, purification and drying facilities, administrative buildings, and transportation infrastructure will be created, added Oleksii Boyko.

In addition to juices, the enterprise will also produce biogas from fruit processing waste, which will be used to heat buildings in the community.

The production launch is scheduled for the end of 2025. Preparatory works, including documentation and obtaining permits, are currently underway.

According to YouControl data, "Interjus Bukovina" is part of the TAS Group of Sergey Tigipko.
