The air defense forces destroyed 13 out of 19 kamikaze drones and a guided missile X-59 on the night of February 21, 2024.

This information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

"In the night of February 21, 2024, the occupiers attacked with a guided missile from the S-300 system (Rostov region), a guided aviation missile X-59 (Belgorod region), 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles (Rostov region), and 19 Shahed attack drones (Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation)," the statement said.

As a result of the combat operation, a guided aviation missile X-59 was destroyed in the Poltava region, and 13 out of 19 Shahed drones were destroyed in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.

"Some of the six enemy UAVs that were not hit did not reach their targets," said the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It's worth noting that air defense missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare means of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the aerial attack.
