Supernova Airlines, part of the Nova Group ("Nova Poshta"), will develop its hub in Prague.
CEO of the company, Yaroslav Krasnozhon, shared this in an interview with CTS.
It was noted that, unlike Poland and Romania, the Czech Republic allowed Nova to use its airport for flights to the United States.
Supernova Airlines is awaiting approval for the Prague-New York-Prague route, Krasnozhon said.
"The Czech aviation authorities are supportive of our airline. Once the application is confirmed, the Ukrainian airline will be able to operate flights on this route, and cargo to and from Ukraine will already be transported by trucks," explained the company's CEO.
"Poland doesn't want to do this. And Romania is also not in a hurry. But the Czech Republic has been accommodating," he added.
Supernova Airlines has signed a contract with the Ukrainian organization Air Service, which services the company's aircraft in Prague, Krasnozhon said.
"We try to work primarily with Ukrainian companies. And only if there is no Ukrainian company, do we look for another one," he added.
