The building of the State Industry in Kharkiv, damaged by Russians, will be rebuilt in collaboration with UNESCO, announced the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synehubov.
Synehubov noted that the administration has already discussed a restoration plan for the building with American businessman Howard Buffett. Furthermore, the regional council is in negotiations to secure funding for the reconstruction from other international partners.
Experts have also submitted a projected budget to the relevant ministries and the Office of the President. The building itself is under the management of the Kharkiv Regional Council.
Currently, emergency repairs are being carried out at the site of the damage: windows are being boarded up, and utilities are being restored.
