The Government of the Czech Republic approved the “Ukraine 2026–2030” Programme, providing annual aid of 1 billion Czech koruna (around €40 million).

The programme, initially launched in 2023, is planned to run through 2030. Under it, 500 million koruna (approximately €20 million) per year from 2026 to 2028 will go to the National Development Bank to co-finance European projects. In March, the EU approved two projects worth 4 billion koruna for the Czech Republic, enabling long-term involvement of Czech contractors in restoring critical infrastructure and modernizing hospitals in Ukraine.

The remaining 500 million koruna annually will fund bilateral humanitarian, stabilization, and reconstruction projects, including support for Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.

For context, 500 million koruna per year had already been allocated to humanitarian, stabilization, reconstruction, and economic aid to Ukraine for 2023–202
