On the night of March 25, 2025 (from 18:00 on March 24), the Russian forces launched a ballistic missile Iskander-M from Crimea and 139 strike Shahed-type UAVs along with drone imitators of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea).
The airstrike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:00, it was confirmed that 78 strike Shahed-type drones (and other types of UAVs) were shot down in the south, north, and center of the country.
34 drone imitators were lost due to location issues (with no negative consequences).
As a result of the Russian attack, the following regions were affected: Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Odessa.
