On the night of February 6, a military airfield, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, in the Krasnodar region was struck, resulting in explosions and a fire. The attack was carried out by units of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in coordination with other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the Russian airfield "Primorsko-Akhtarsk" serves as an operational base for aviation assets.
"It is used for storing, preparing, and launching Shahed-type UAVs against Ukraine, as well as for servicing aircraft conducting operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions," the General Staff stated.
The strike was confirmed, with explosions occurring at the target site, followed by a fire. The military added that the results of the attack are still being assessed.
The General Staff emphasized that strikes on facilities involved in supporting Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and terrorizing civilians will continue.
