The Cabinet of Ministers has clarified the powers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the areas of providing tactical medical assistance and information security.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the relevant draft resolution, developed by the Ministry, was adopted at the government meeting on Friday, March 28. The resolution is titled "On amendments to paragraph 4 of the Regulation on the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine."
This document aligns the provisions of the Ministry’s regulation with current legislation and clarifies the ministry's powers in several areas.
According to the resolution, the Ministry of Defense gains, among other powers:

Approving material and technical supply standards for the Security and Defense Forces based on NATO standards, as well as the standards and scope of providing tactical pre-hospital medical assistance.

Approving the minimum requirements and quality standards for medical products used by the Security and Defense Forces to provide tactical pre-hospital assistance based on NATO quality standards and requirements.

Approving, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, the procedure for medical examination of conscripts, military personnel, reservists, and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service, and organizing its implementation.

Developing and approving security measures for information and communication electronic systems owned by the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Engaging in military cooperation with NATO, international organizations, and other defense sector entities to ensure cybersecurity and joint protection against cyber threats.
