The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the deployment of the Ukrainian-made multipurpose unmanned frontline transporter, BoarTAC.
During the design phase, developers incorporated requirements based on the combat experience of Ukrainian defenders. The ground robotic complex features a low profile, is quiet and inconspicuous, and is protected against bullets and shrapnel. Additionally, the device is easy to operate and repair in field conditions. It boasts high mobility and towing power.
The remotely operated universal multipurpose transporter can deliver ammunition and supplies. The multifunctional platform, with its specially installed mounts, is capable of evacuating the wounded. It can also be equipped with additional tools for demining or setting up minefields. The ground robotic complex can serve as a mobile fire support unit, with the option to integrate remotely operated combat modules equipped with grenade launchers and machine guns. Furthermore, the transporter can be used as a kamikaze drone. With its wide tracks, large ground contact points, and protective bumper, the robot can navigate rough terrain, ditches, and shallow water obstacles. It can carry approximately 200 kg of cargo or tow a trailer of similar weight.
