The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, with the support of the Kyiv School of Economics, continues its work with businesses to update the list of available investment projects. As a result of this work, a list of the most promising projects will be compiled and presented at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 in Berlin.

"Last year, the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London brought together hundreds of investors from around the world, heads of states and governments, international organizations, and financial institutions. The highlight of the event was the announcement of the Ukraine Facility – a support program for Ukraine from the EU worth 50 billion euros. And now we are in the final stages of launching the program.

The Ukrainian economy has great potential for development – integration with the EU and the green transition create new opportunities for Ukrainian companies. It is important for Ukraine to develop the real sector of the economy, and the private sector will play a key role in this. The recovery conference opens up new opportunities for forming partnerships and attracting investments so that Ukrainian businesses can receive an impetus for growth and integration into international markets," said Deputy Minister of Economy Volodymyr Kuzio.

He added that some companies offering the most well-developed and promising investment projects will have the opportunity to participate in the URC 2024 and represent Ukraine at the conference. In addition to being presented at the URC, the compiled database of investment projects will be used to determine priorities for financing, including from international financial organizations.

Currently, the Government, together with European partners, is developing the mechanism for the functioning of the investment component of the Ukraine Facility. The program, with a volume of around 7 billion euros, includes a risk reduction mechanism available to investors in priority sectors, which will allow attracting around 30 billion euros for businesses in Ukraine. Companies will be able to attract financing through the EBRD, EIB, other international financial institutions, and Ukrainian banks. The presence of an up-to-date portfolio of investment projects will allow prioritizing needs and allocating appropriate funding to the program.

The Kyiv School of Economics will coordinate work with businesses. Processing of received proposals will be done in partnership with leading consulting companies. The final list of projects is planned to be formed by May 1, 2024.

To participate in sectoral groups and submit investment projects, please fill out the form at the link provided.

Applications will be accepted until April 14, 2024.
