The Netherlands have joined the IT coalition established to support Ukraine, with their initial contribution.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense on Facebook.
It is noted that the Netherlands joined the IT coalition during the latest meeting of the Defense Contact Group for Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format. The new coalition member has already made a contribution of 10 million euros.
During the "Ramstein" meeting, Denmark also allocated 91 million Danish kroner (over 12 million euros) for Ukraine's cybersecurity. These funds will be directed towards cybersecurity projects for the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense.
It's worth mentioning that the IT coalition is a special union of countries within the Defense Contact Group for Ukraine under the leadership of Estonia and Luxembourg. Contributions to the IT coalition have been made previously by Estonia (500 thousand euros) and Luxembourg (10 million euros). Lithuania and Latvia have also provided material assistance in the form of licenses and equipment.
In total, 11 countries have already joined the IT coalition, including Ukraine, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and Japan.
