The new Russian drone that reached Kyiv is called the "Gerbera," according to radio technology expert Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov.
This is a new development that the Russians are positioning as a younger series to the "Geran" drones, which is likely why it also has a plant name*.

The "Gerbera" drones will have different tasks compared to the "Geran." In addition to striking targets, they will include elements of reconnaissance and diversionary tactics to distract our air defense systems.
The "Gerberas" may also operate in swarms, according to the Ukrainian specialist.
