The historical red warehouses of the Odessa port, built at the end of the 19th century, which are under State protection as architectural monuments of local importance, will be put again on lease by the regional branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
According to the head of department Alexander Slavsky, the auction will take place on March 11, 2022. It is worth reminding that the winner of a previous auction, Adara Plus, a private enterprise, refused to sign the lease, at the end.
According to Slavsky, the company did not sign the auction protocol, losing the guarantee fee and the right to participate in the new auction.
The starting price of the lot has not changed: UAH 138,410.22 (VAT excluded).
The leased property includes three warehouse buildings 1, 2 and 3 with a total area of ââ4571.1 sq.m. (686.3 sq. m., 976.5 sq.m. and 1599.1 sq.m. respectively) and a storage shed with an area of ââ1309.2 sq.m.
The tenant has the right to sublease the property. He must also adhere to the security agreement concluded between the port and the regional state administration.
About the historical buildings
Four brick customs warehouses were erected on the site of demolished residential buildings on Devolanovskaya Street in 1896-1898 according to the design of engineers Valerin Kulikovsky and Edmond Harris.
At the beginning of the 20th century, they were included in Odessa tourist guides: âthese are huge beautiful brick buildings designed for storage and storage of goods. Warehouses were built in accordance with the latest technology, they are well provided for in terms of fire and are rich in technical devicesâ.
