In 2024, the price of one ton of Ukrainian agricultural exports was $315. By April 2025, it had risen to $443.

This was reported by Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitalii Koval.

"The price of one ton of Ukrainian agricultural exports has increased by 1.4 times. This was achieved through the growth of exports of value-added products, including bioethanol," emphasized Vitalii Koval.

According to him, the average prices for the top five export products per ton also increased:

  • Sunflower oil – $1,174, which is 37.8% more than in 2024 ($852);
  • Corn – $217, which is 27.1% more than the average price in 2024 ($171);
  • Wheat – $231, which is 27.4% more than the average price in 2024 ($181);
  • Poultry meat – $2,385, which is 11.2% more than the average price in 2024 ($2,145);
  • Soybeans – $409, which is 4.3% more than the average price in 2024 ($392).

"Overall, since the beginning of the year, agricultural product exports from Ukraine have amounted to $1.1 billion or 2.5 million tons. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy continues to work on diversifying markets and expanding the export potential of the processing industry," the Minister emphasized.
