Three representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross were injured on September 25 at around 4:00 PM during shelling in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, by the Russian Federation forces.

The Red Cross of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The explosion occurred near a residential building in the city, where the Ukrainian Red Cross team was carrying out a humanitarian mission.

As a result of the shelling, a volunteer sustained shrapnel wounds to her leg and was immediately taken to a medical facility, where surgery is planned.

Also in the vehicle were the head of the Kramatorsk city organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross and a driver, both of whom suffered injuries.

“The Ukrainian Red Cross continues its mission to provide assistance to the civilian population despite the dangers posed by the ongoing war in the country! We support our injured colleagues and their families and categorically condemn the shelling of humanitarian organizations and violations of the norms and principles of international humanitarian law,” the Red Cross emphasized.
