Russian forces fired 374 shells from various types of weapons at Kherson and the surrounding region in the past 24 hours, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
He provided this information in the operational update as of 06:00 on Monday.
"Over the past day, the enemy conducted 80 attacks, launching 374 shells from mortars, artillery, 'Grads,' tanks, UAVs, and aircraft. The enemy fired 47 shells at the city of Kherson," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the Regional Military Administration, Russian military forces targeted residential quarters in populated areas of the region.
As a result of the Russian aggression, one person has died.
