Russians attacked the territory of Ukraine using 33 combat drones and two S-300 missiles on the night of January 18. Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 22 drones.

This information is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.

It is noted that the occupiers launched 33 combat drones of the Shahed-136/131 type from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk region of Russia. They also targeted two S-300 surface-to-air missiles at the Kharkiv region.

The main directions of the attack were the south and north. The air defense forces operated within the Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Khmelnytsky regions.

"The forces and means of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 22 enemy UAVs. Several drones did not reach their targets. Air defense units and mobile fire groups, electronic warfare means were involved in repelling the aerial attack," the statement said.
