Late in the evening on March 3, Russian forces attacked Odessa with strike drones, causing damage and power supply issues.

This was reported by the Telegram channels of Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper and the city's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.

"As a result of the strike, the energy infrastructure sustained damage. Currently, emergency power outages are in effect in parts of the city. Utility services have already begun deploying generators to support critical infrastructure, including boiler houses. Additional "points of resilience" are being set up," wrote Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.

Debris and blast waves also damaged residential buildings and two private kindergartens.

Due to damage to the energy infrastructure, the operation of three boiler houses was halted. They have now been powered up, and heating supply to homes has been restored.

All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Law enforcement is documenting yet another crime by Russian forces against Odessa’s civilian population.

"Unfortunately, three residents of private homes suffered shrapnel wounds and limb fractures. They were taken to medical facilities in moderate condition. Another person, who was inside a business center at the time of the attack, sustained a concussion," wrote Kiper.

Doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance.
