During the night of October 31, Russian forces struck railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, in Sumy the Russian forces hit a passenger depot, damaging and destroying other company facilities and rolling stock.

To ensure passenger transport, replacement carriages were quickly provided for train No. 779/780 Sumy–Kyiv, which departed on schedule.
Additionally, railway infrastructure near Lozova was damaged.
“We are doing everything possible to minimize its delay,” Ukrzaliznytsia assured.
Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured, as all employees reached shelters in time.
Russian attacks on trains and railway infrastructure continue to target Ukrzaliznytsia facilities on a regular basis.
