Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have exposed a large-scale theft of the property of domestic entrepreneurs, in which officials of one of the local military administrations of the Sumy region may have been involved.
On the night before the Russian Federation's large-scale aggression against Ukraine, more than forty Russian railway cars carrying Ukrainian enterprises' products arrived on our country's territory.
According to operational information, the officials decided to take advantage of martial law and get rich. They seized not only Russian property - train cars, but also the contents of cars with diesel fuel, coal, propane-butane gas, and other fuels belonging to private Ukrainian companies. Cars with products were driven to another place and unstuffed.
The losses of Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be determined after the examination.
At the request of the Bureau's employees, the court transferred more than 40 Russian train cars, worth more than UAH 25 million, to the management of ARMA. The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office carries out procedural management.
