The collection "Kyiv Posters," which includes works by well-known contemporary Ukrainian designers and illustrators, has become part of the poster collection at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich. 

The series consists of 14 posters, each telling a unique story of Kyiv through the perception of the designer or illustrator. Curator Olga Protasova invited renowned Ukrainian creatives to depict Kyiv through typography, architecture, decor, color combinations, symbolism, and their own vision. The special project "Kyiv Posters" caught the attention of curators at the Museum für Gestaltung, who proposed adding the Kyiv posters to the museum's collection.

The museum's collection, titled "Collection of Posters of the Zurich Museum of Arts," currently comprises over 380,000 posters. They could potentially be featured in rotating exhibitions or loaned to other museums in Switzerland. They can also be viewed on the museum's website.

"The project was created during wartime specifically for the first Kyiv Design Week, which is probably why the curators of the design museum paid special attention to it," adds Anastasiia Biletska, curator of Kyiv Design Week.

The Museum of Design Zurich is part of the infrastructure of the Zurich University of the Arts. It is an institution dedicated to design, visual communication, and applied arts. Its mission is to preserve and demonstrate the influence of design on culture and society. Known for its poster collection, the museum houses various historical and contemporary posters, serving as a valuable resource for researchers and design enthusiasts.

In 2023, these posters were presented during the Kyiv Design Week as part of the Zurich Design Weeks program at the Thomas Kurat Gallery in Zurich and at the Mac Paw Space venue in Kyiv.
